Government updated “essential goods”: baby clothes and electronic items can be acquired
During the last hours the Chilean government updated the list of products called “essential” that can be purchased in the cities that are in stages 1 (quarantine) and 2 (transition) of the plan “Step by step”.
It is worth mentioning that an essential product is one that "is used within the home and that is essential for subsistence, teleworking, remote or distance education and the operation, safety and conservation of the property" ".
It must be remembered that this measure decreed by the Ministry of Health and the Undersecretariat of Crime Prevention will last two weeks, but has generated quite controversial and criticism in several sectors.For example, the CNC (National Chamber of Commerce) called it "arbitrary".
