The baby of the under 11-year-old was born, the defense denounces that they forced a premature birth

The baby of the minor, 11 years old, who was raped and pregnant by her step-grandfather in Yapacaní, was born alive , after an intervention carried out by doctors before the judicial instance filed by State agencies, a fact that generated protest in the relatives, for not having allowed the normal development of formation of the new being.

The information was confirmed by the lawyers Néstor Higa and Yovani Cabello, who defend the girl's mother.

According to reports, the baby weighed 500 grams and authorities are expected to provide details on the health status of the mother and newborn. The lawyers denounced that her mother (of the minor) was practically kidnapped and persecuted to separate her from her own daughter.

They said that it is a persecution and violation of infinite rights, where the will of the mother and the family is being violated by the State itself . The authorities should defend the life of the mother and the baby, as stated in the Political Constitution of the State, said one of the defenders.

The mother's lawyers assured that the girl was in a foster home and that the Ombudsman's Office through a constitutional protection in La Paz, forced her to be removed from the establishment and taken to the French hospital, where she was subjected to a surgery. However, the defense of the mother denounced that the mother was forced and separated from the girl (mother), a fact that is considered a "fierce persecution".

The lawyers Higa and Cabello already have a freedom action resource ready, considering that it is a persecution against the mother and the girl. In addition, so that they present the girl, her baby and so that they do not take the lives of these people in their power. The defense awaits an official report in the next few hours and that the persecution of the mother and the girl cease and a full life is guaranteed.

The baby was in a process close to her normal birth, she was an immature childbirth. "What need did the state authorities have to speed up the delivery, they will be responsible if something worse happens with that child," said the lawyer Néstor Higa.

For now, an official report is expected from the legal and medical authorities that attended her to find out the state of health of the child and the 11-year-old minor.
