Ciudad Juárez- Members of the Municipal Public Security Secretariat arrested 22-year-old Carlos Eduardo G. C., for his alleged responsibility in the commission of the crime of illegal deprivation of liberty, as well as the detention of a teenager for promotion of illicit conduct, reported the head of the agency, César Omar Muñoz Morales.
The intervention took place in the Oriente XXI Roma subdivision, where they were intercepted by a woman asking for help at the intersection of Jicore and Sina streets, according to the police chief.
The woman stated that eight days ago she had gone to a home to buy clothes, where a man who was in the place no longer allowed her to leave, holding her against her will and under death threats, he made himself known .
The police officers went to the scene and observed a man who met the description provided, so when they informed him that he would be detained due to the accusation against him, a 16-year-old adolescent approached to offer the agents a cell phone in exchange to avoid arrest, being detained for the crime of promoting illegal conduct, said Muñoz Morales.
The detainees were consigned to the Public Ministry.
