Itatí Cantoral on the lesson he left her the death of his mother: 'I no longer have any fear'

Itatí highlighted that she has not only had to deal with the absence of her mother, the absence of her father is a situation with which she continues to work: “When I realized that my parents were no longer there and that I am still alive, that I did not die of pain, I realized that pain is strength in the creator and that the only thing I can do to continue loving my mother, me while I'm alive, is following her example, what she would tell me to do”. During this meeting with the media, Itatí spoke about the health of another woman who marked her life, Carmen Salinas: "For me it is a very difficult moment, because my mother died and now this woman who is like my mother" .

The actress recalled that when Carmen Salinas staged the iconic Aventurera staging, she did so with her as the lead in mind: “Many years ago, when they adapted the adventurer for the theater, I have the honor to say that they wrote it for me , she arrived and I was about 19 years old and she told me: 'It's just that there won't be an Adventurer like you'. She supported me in my artistic career to this day. I want her to get out of the hospital as soon as possible, but I thought that if she were awake right now, she would tell me, no Itatí, you have to do it and she would be sitting there applauding me, so this goes to Carmen and to all the women who have contributed to our life," he explained.

Her facet as a businesswoman

Convinced that she was born to act, Itatí said that the project of launching her own clothing line was the illusion because it would not be just any firm, since it is a project with a cause: “If I am going to sell something like clothes, fashion, I want to do it with a purpose that really motivates me, because I dedicate myself to something else, I am an actress ”. The actress recognized that her daughter was a great inspiration to launch this line: "I thought of my daughter María as a woman and she is the one who leads this campaign." Cantoral also spoke of the commotion that his character has caused in networks: "He was transformed through the public, I transformed through that, because I had two or get angry with the situation or join, when I join the situation I realize that That phrase opens the doors of other countries, of other projects, of other jobs, with the girls”, she explained.
