On December 25, the apocryphal photo was published on the social network Twitter where it obtained thousands of interactions.In the image you can see a couple dancing.One of them is an adult man who apparently looks like President Castillo, with a hat, a mask that covers his face, a blue jacket and beige pants.

The photograph also carries a belt that ensures that Castillo "celebrates a meeting with innumerable people".

The original video was published on Tiktok by user Walter Flores in November 2021, according to Lioner and Popular Media.Both media published the same video, and highlighted that he was known as the double of President Castillo due to his similar appearance.

Eyopublic contacted Walter Flores, author of the original Tiktok video, and clarified that the man who appears dancing in the video is actually Samuel Tarrillo, a singer and leader of a musical band, who presented himself dressed as the president at the inauguration ofA restaurant in the district of Carabayllo, last November.

"It's not President Castillo.He is only a man who sang in a small band, and then began to dance.I recorded the video at night and the next day I published it, ”said Flores.

Accessed for this verification, Samuel Tarrillo, confirmed that he is the one who appears dancing with a woman in the video object of this verification.Tarrillo said that it comes from the department of Cajamarca, and said that his usual way of dressing is similar to that of Castillo.
