Este es el primer título de una de las franquicias más rentablesy recordadas de todos los tiempos. Las siguientes entregas de diablo son igualmente buenas que esta, pero colocamos el primer título en nuestra lista por ser igual de bueno que los demás y verdaderamente haber sido un juego sin precedentes para su año.

Es el título que populariza los hack and Slash, Diablo se destacó de su competencia por el universo oscuro y macabro que lo caracteriza.

Super Metroid

Es el juego ícono del término “Metroidvania” (Juegos circulares, dónde tienes que volver sobre tus pasos, un acrónimo de Castelvania+Metroid) Fue uno de los pioneros y el mejor juego de Plataformas para muchos.

De lo que no hay duda es que fue el primero en su género en presentarse como un juego circular, dónde tenías un mundo abierto pero era necesario en ocasiones volver sobre tus pasos para desbloquear niveles.

Golden Axe

Este fue un maravilloso título para Arcade del género Hack and Slash, tenía la magia de ser un juego cooperativo completamente divertido.

Golden Axe puede pavonearse de ser el primer juego de Hack and Slash jamás creado. Básicamente se trataba de elegir uno de los 3 personajes y con sus hechizos y ataques propios intentar avanzar lo más posible hasta quedarte sin vida, no podías olvidarte de agarrar los mejores ítems en el camino.

Es uno de los primeros juegos en los que podías tomar algún animal del mapa para cabalgarlo.
