MIC announced the opening of a new store in Medellín, located in Arkadia Centro Comercial. With this point, the brand will focus on expanding its target audience from four to 16 years old.

To date, MIC has 140 stores in the country and with this latest opening it reached 60 in Medellín. For its latest acquisition, the company invested more than $100 million and expects to create new jobs.

According to Daniel Díaz Marín, general manager of MIC, they would have chosen this Shopping Center for its strategic location in the city and the multiple access roads.

"We are confident in the reactivation of trade and the economy, we are optimistic that the vaccination plans and the arrival of immunity against the virus will make our clients visit us with the desire to resume their daily activities", he highlighted

The Shopping Center, for its part, celebrated that with the entry of this new player into its establishment, it achieved 99% occupancy on its way to recovery after the pandemic.

“It is something that fills us with satisfaction because it represents employment and opportunities in the midst of situations as complex as those we have experienced recently. Similarly, in this 75-square-meter space located on the third level, our partner will generate three new direct jobs, very good news," added Patricia Melo Estrada, manager of Arkadia.

This new point of sale will have representative lines of the brand with its official licenses that include designs from Disney, Star Wars, DC, Marvel and other animated characters.
