On the other hand, last Friday afternoon, the Lugo Local Police carried out a speed check on Avenida de Madrid, during which 21 drivers were reported for exceeding the maximum speed.

On the other hand, on the night from Saturday to Sunday, two drivers were also denounced: one in Tino Grandío street, for giving a result of 0.32 mg/l, and another in Ramón Ferreiro, for giving 0.57 mg/l. Also on the night from Sunday to Monday, the agents of the Attestation Unit initiated proceedings for two crimes against road safety against an individual who was driving with an alcohol level of 0.80 mg/l, in addition to having the right to drive withdrawn during four years.

In addition, around midnight on Saturday, a person was denounced for urinating on public roads, against the Wall. Moreover, the man had already been denounced for the same events in previous days.

Also on the night from Saturday to Sunday, the Neighborhood Police attended to a young man who was not feeling well in Rúa da Cruz. They went to the place around four in the morning and saw that the boy was unconscious, so they notified the health services, who transferred him to the HULA for alleged alcohol poisoning.

On the other hand, the Local Police went to a hotel establishment in Camiño Real on Saturday morning, where, according to telephone information, they refused to provide a claim form to a client. Once in the place, the woman explained that they did not want to serve her a second drink or provide her with the claim form. The establishment's staff explained to the agents that, indeed, they refused to serve this client again because she threw the food from the lid on the ground for the pigeons to eat, with the consequent inconvenience for the rest of the clients. Finally, they provided the claim sheet to the client.

The Local Police also had to intervene due to non-compliance with the covid measures. After midnight on Monday, the agents saw two people on Reiseñor street, one of whom was not wearing the mandatory mask, despite not remaining at a safe enough distance from the other. For this reason, the young man is identified and denounced for an infringement of the Lei de Saúde de Galicia, being warned that, in these circumstances, the use of the mask is mandatory. The defendant replies that he will put it on, but that he will take it off as soon as the agents leave. At the insistence of the Police, the young man puts on the mask. When the agents are absent from the place, they see how the young man, who is still next to the other person, removes his mask again, for which he was denounced for an infraction of the Lei de Seguridade Cidadá, for disobedience to the agents of The authority.

Agents from the Lugo Local Police proposed for punishment 17 young people -16 men and one woman- for urinating in various spaces in the historic center of the city, specifically in such sensitive areas from the point of view of heritage conservation such as the Cathedral, declared a world asset by Unesco, or the Fonte Miñá, restored a few years ago.

These complaints were made possible thanks to the special surveillance device deployed by the Night Operative Group of the Local Police to "combat the uncivil behavior of certain young people in the historic center" of the city.
