What is the perfect wardrobe background? If you're under 30, it's possible that your style of clothing has taken a lot of lurches in recent years and you've jumped on every possible trend because you enjoy playing with clothes. But as we get older, we tend to play it safe, because we know each other better, we know how to identify the clothes that favor us and highlight our strengths. Experience (and self-knowledge) is a degree! Normally, on these dates we all find articles or reports where they indicate the essentials of the season, a content that is appreciated, but over the years I realize that women, depending on their age, ask for things different from your wardrobe.

The 20 divine treasure, who will catch them. It is the ideal opportunity to experiment and get to know yourself little by little. It is the occasion in which you can allow yourself to take risks, use lower quality garments and even fall, on occasions, into what I call 'costume looks'. Try, play and get inspired by the outfits you see on the street or in the 'influencers'.

The good news is that at this age you put up with everything or, rather, you defend it. It is an ideal time to sign up for the basic “trends” of each season and thus never fall into boredom.

When we turn 30, we reach one of the best times to start building a quality wardrobe, with clothes that we will use for years to come. It is important to invest in essential clothing and accessories to enhance and give that special touch to a look.

40 is the new 30, we are in a magical age to get the wardrobe of our dreams. Now you know who you are, you are especially clear about what you don't want and your basics must reflect that learning. In addition, a basic in the form of a whim is more than recommended: it is always successful with a good bag.

Here are ten essential basics that can appear in any of the aforementioned wardrobes. The difference will be, above all, in the quality and cut of the garments. Take note, because not all of them are there, but they are all of them:

- 'Trench'. A trench coat is essential in transition periods. A camel trench goes with everything and the cut at the waist flatters almost all silhouettes. An essential in capital letters.

- 'Bikers'. The most timeless garment. A leather or leather effect jacket fits perfectly with jeans, elegant dresses...

- 'Blazer'. A garment with its own personality and capable of altering a look. Every woman should invest in a quality jacket and cuts appropriate to her silhouette.

- 'Little Black Dress'. Few pieces are as timeless as a 'Little Black Dress' (LBD) or what is the same, a black dress. An all-terrain garment: perfect for a work meeting, a dinner or even for an afternoon with friends with more informal accessories. Eternally appropriate and versatile, it embodies values as diverse as independence, resistance, glamor or respect. In the words of André Leon Talley, curator and organizer of the exhibition dedicated to the 'Little Black Dress' in 2012, the black dress "is the zenith of elegance in any woman's wardrobe". A great essential for those moments when you want to be correct and beautiful without thinking too much.

- White shirt or blouse. It is a garment that triumphs for its simplicity and that gives any style a natural and feminine touch. In addition, it provides that extra light that favors the face so much from the age of 30.

- Gray jeans or leather pants for the most daring. They are great with shirts, XL jumpers or vests, as they add a modern and chic touch. In addition, you can complement it with heels or sneakers.

- Footwear and bag... quality. There are three most important elements of a look: the outer garment, the footwear and the bag. In this case, it is advisable to invest in quality items. Better "little but good".
