"Little angels" from Victoria's Secret, such as Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio, who parade in the most viewed underwear catwalks in the world, could be cooperating with the labor exploitation of African children, mainly in Burkina Faso, in Africa.

Thus, the popularity of this lingerie company could be affected, after "Victoria's Other Secret" came to light this week, a documentary that narrates the sad life of an African girl Clarisse Kambire, who works in the fields of cotton from that country.

According to the documentary, these workers grow the cotton that is later sent to India and, later, to Sri Lanka, to later transport it to the stores of this brand in the United States.

Victoria's Secret has proclaimed that its cotton garments are produced in controlled fields and that they do not use pesticides, but thanks to this documentary the alleged terrible conditions of its workers have been revealed.

More than 25 million garments are produced annually by the firm and all the raw material is supposedly obtained from the forced labor of children who suffer terrible living conditions.

Upon learning of the documentary's release, the firm promised a full investigation.

"We are very concerned," the company Limited Brands said in a statement. "If the allegations are true, they describe behavior that is contrary to our company values and our labor code and sourcing standards that we ask our suppliers to adhere to. Those standards expressly prohibit child labor."

He assured that he has immediately begun to work with local and foreign suppliers to find out if what is exposed by the production is true.

"Depending on what is discovered, we are prepared to take immediate action to prevent the use of illegal child force in Burkina Faso's organic cotton fields."

Victoria's Secret describes itself as one of the most powerful, sexy and glamorous stores in the world. His most recent fashion show was broadcast in more than 90 countries.
