"We can't go shopping together": the complaint of two influencers about Zara's sizing
They have spoken on behalf of many women and their intervention has been highly applauded. They are Kristina Zias and Ashley Torres, two friends with two very different bodies. Kristina is 1.80 cm and has a size 48 and Ashley 1.65 cm and a 34-36, depending on the brand.
Who doesn't like to go shopping with her friends and treat themselves to the occasional whim? A very common plan that, as Kristina and Ashley show us, is not always so easy. The reason? the sizing of the brands, and in this case, that of Zara.
They have made their respective purchases online and later they have shared two reels on their social networks in which they show how Zara's garments do not feel the same if you wear an XS or an XL.
Despite the fact that the firm continues to take steps towards inclusion and diversity and has expanded its size system to XXL - a very good initiative - the garments still do not adapt equally to the different bodies of women.
Here is the forceful message from Kristina and Ashley, which already has thousands of likes: "There are many stores but we cannot buy together. I think we have all felt personally victimized by the size of Zara garments at some point. We love bringing you videos with brands that work for our sizes, but the reality is that a lot of times we can't go shopping together... So we'll keep documenting it until there's a difference. Zara, do better, we just want to wear your clothes."
