Inés' Christmas: a neighbor from Seville distributes more than a thousand toys to the needy
He has gathered more than a thousand toys in his own home, has flooded two of his four rooms with gifts and has turned his window into the most needy mailbox.She is called Inés Recio del Valle and she is the queen of the Magi, the woman who, without acronyms or organizations, without headquarters or aid, every year distributes toys to the children of Seville who at Christmas does not expect to receive anything.
"My world is the children," says this young woman, 29 years old and without children, who has been collecting toys for three years.They are donated privately through Facebook.She disinfects them herself and classifies them."Toys, baby clothes or food, but never money," explains Inés.That is the basic norm to participate in her group that she is named: "We help each other among all Seville."
In total the network is formed by almost 3,000 people.Half are donors and the other half, those who receive aid."For example, a woman says that she is going to be a mother and that she needs a sacaChes," Inés tells us, "and someone who can give it to him."It's that simple ... And that complicated.Because Inés herself is responsible for contacting these families, she follows them and studies that her needs are true."I look especially when they have children," says the young woman.
For them he is now collecting toys that he hopes to deliver the day of Kings.She does it in his own neighborhood, Alcosa Park, riding a throne on the same facade of his house.In the window of his places speakers and with balloons decorate the square to which he gives his house.They even pull candies and disguise themselves to deliver the gifts.
When everyone leaves with their toys and Inés' house is again a normal house, the messages of thanks arrive.Her mobile is full of photos of hundreds of children from Seville playing with her gifts."Once a five -year -old boy from Torreblanca came to the soul with Down Syndrome," recalls Inés, "his illusion of him was to be a cook and had been asking for a kitchen for 3 years."He asked for her with three years, with four and when she turned the five last year ... Ines was giving it to her."I will never forget it, that child began to say one of things through that mouth ... And we all broke to cry."
Inés is already preparing the new gift campaign.In her Facebook group, hundreds of people ask where her toys can take."To the house of Inés," replies the young woman who already has the two rooms of her lists of her to welcome everything they donate.
It is Christmas that does not come out in the ads, which does not appear on television and that few know, because this Christmas is particular, Inés has created it and there is no enough gift role to wrap all the happiness it will give.
