This alteration causes the skin to become red, although sometimes it is covered with small hunches which are painful.

It occurs for several reasons, but the main ones are:

• The diaper touches against the skin repeatedly

•Infection.Urine changes skin pH levels and combined with the warm and humid environment that is created with diaper, allows bacteria and fungi to grow more easily, causing dermatitis.

• Allergies. In sensitive skin with sensitive skin, a rash (eruption) may also appear as they are in contact with some types of detergents, soaps, diapers or wet wipes.
